Volvo XC90 T5 ruled out for Australia


The 2016 Volvo XC90 luxury SUV has seen the addition of a new, downsized turbocharged engine – in the US, at least.


The new Volvo XC90 T5 model has been added to the Swedish brand’s US site, with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo model producing 185kW of power at 5500rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1500-4800rpm.


The XC90 T5 can be had in front- or all-wheel drive, with the front-drive model weighing in at about 1947 kilograms, and the AWD version tipping the scales at 2010kg.
